Powered Swivel at the Top of the Stairs

Available on the following models:

• Handicare 1100 Straight Stairlift
• Handicare 1000 Straight Stairlift
• Handicare 4000 Curved Stairlift
• Handicare Freecurve Curved Stairlift

When you arrive at the top of the stairs, you will need to swivel your seat around so that you exit onto the landing safely. All Handicare stairlifts come with a manual swivel that is operated from a handle located at either side of the seat.

Choosing a powered swivel option removes the need to you to operate the lever and turn the seat: simply continue to hold the toggle in the direction of travel when you arrive at the top of the rail and the seat will automatically turn to face the landing.
